NBC Universal’s Entertainment and Digital Networks and Integrated Media division (Bravo, Oxygen, iVillage.com, and Green Is Universal) are gearing up intern recruitment efforts for Spring 2012!

NBC Universal will be hosting an onsite recruitment event in late October.  

Requirements: 
- Interns must receive college credit or transcript notation.  
- Interns are required to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week. 

Opportunities are available in all areas – Marketing, TV Production & Development, Digital Media, Online Journalism, Design, Program Scheduling, Research, Communications & PR, and more.

Who is Kaplow?
Founded 1991 by President and CEO, Liz Kaplow, with a staff of 60 in New York and San
Francisco, Kaplow is an award-winning, nationally recognized communications/public relations
agency with some of the best consumer brands as clients. Services offered by Kaplow include
traditional PR, digital and new media, video content creation and distribution and corporate
communications consulting.
 
In addition to earning college credits, interns will receive the following benefits:
• A stipend for the semester
• Interaction with and exposure to top people in the industry
• Attend brainstorms, strategy sessions, conference calls, meetings and events for clients in
fashion, beauty, life style and consumer technology
• Participate in staff and team meetings
 
INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English, and Business majors are encouraged to
apply but all majors will be considered. Interns must be able to receive college credits and
must demonstrate basic Word and Excel skills, understand social media, be able to work
independently as well as on a team, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.

How to Access Pride-CMS
·     Click on "My Hofstra Portal" at the top of any Hofstra University Web page.
·     Log into the Portal using your Hofstra username and password. Call The Computer Center for assistance, (516) 463-7777.
·     Click on "myApps" located in the upper right corner, then "Pride Career Management System".
Once in Pride-CMS, please check that your profile is accurate and complete. If looking for employment, select "Jobs & Internships" where you will have the ability to filter your view. We recommend using the "Show Me" filter. Under Documents," upload your resume (and a cover letter) and start applying for many opportunities directly through Pride-CMS.
