A Hofstra Alumna is looking for interns for a feature called 'Franny'. It is directed by Ash Christian (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1101381/). Filming starts November 1st and it will shoot for 3, 6-day weeks (18 days total). They will need some help in the office starting at the end at October as well. It will be shot in Greenwood Lake, NY and it helps if interns can provide their own transportation (There will be a shuttle van from Manhattan as well).
Interns will be working directly for the director, producer, and production coordinator. Money for food/free meals will be provided. Tasks include: helping make product placement deals, organizing contracts for cast & crew, running errands, etc.
From Alumna Sarah Kerlin - "I got an internship working with Ash on his film, 'Petunia', which lead to a majority of the paying jobs in the film industry that I have had since. So, it is a great opportunity."
Candidates should email resume and cover letter to sarah.kerlin@gmail.com. This can be done for college credit, but it is not required.
