You can apply for all but three online.
The applications are also on the board outside the Dean’s Office.
If you’re interested in the Max Kolb scholarship, please see Prof. Katzman
Two other scholarships require special applications which are in Dean Murphy’s office:

THE FOX NEWS CHANNEL/AILES APPRENTICESHIP SCHOLARSHIP

The recipient of this scholarship will be given $10,000 in tuition remission for the 2011/2012 academic year and a paid summer internship at Fox News or Fox Business Channel in the summer of 2012.  It requires a DAR, a resume and an essay.

The scholarship will be awarded to a rising Junior or Senior student who is dedicated to enhancing diversity in the field of journalism, video/television, or a related major and selected on the basis of demonstrated academic achievement and intention to pursue a career in journalism.  Preference will be given to a student majoring in Journalism, Video/Television or a related major and who is from an underrepresented community.

The decision is made by Dr. Cornog and Fox News executives. See Assistant Dean Murphy for this application.

Last Friday, October 21st we welcomed approximately 30 employers from the all areas of the communication field. Fox News, NBC Universal, Disney ABC, and PR firm Burson Marstellar were just a few of the stellar companies that participated in the recruiting event. Promptly at 11am, Dempster Hall had a line of eager students waiting to meet with these employers.  All were dressed professionally and ready to go! This year we had about 120 students that attended, all which the employers mentioned were "quality" candidates. We hope that you enjoyed the event and if you missed out, stop by the Career Center to pick up a listing of the participating employers.  You can see what they recruited for and remember if you see another event like this in the future, make you sure attend! You never know, you may meet your future employer!
